Who we are
This policy is issued by ToolSimply (ToolSimply), the operator ofhttps://toolsimply.com. For privacy questions, emailhello@toolsimply.com or use thecontact page.
The site is aimed primarily at users in India (content and locale: en-IN), but anyone may use the public tools. Where Indian law applies, we treat the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 as the main privacy statute for personal data we actually handle.
What this policy covers
It applies to:
- Public pages: home, tools, prompt articles, and these company pages.
- Calculator widgets that run in your browser.
- Optional messages you send to hello@toolsimply.com.
It does not describe a consumer “member account” on the public site — we do not offer one. Staff-only administration of prompt articles is a separate, restricted area and is not available as a public signup.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for, and the public calculators do not upload:
- SGPA, CGPA, marks, attendance counts, cutoff subjects, or exam attempt breakdowns.
- Enrolment numbers, hall-ticket numbers, Aadhaar, PAN, or payment card details.
- A user profile, password, or “save my results” cloud backup.
On-device calculations
Academic tools such as the SGPA to CGPA calculator, negative marking calculator, cutoff calculator, attendance tools, SRM CGPA calculator, and IGNOU percentage calculator execute their formulas in your browser. We do not receive a copy of the inputs in order to compute the result.
Accounts and logins
There is no public signup, login, or user profile. You do not need an email address to use a calculator or to copy a prompt. We therefore do not run a public password database for visitors.
Theme preference
If you switch light or dark mode, the choice is stored in your browser’slocalStorage under the key mto-theme. That value never needs to reach our servers for the theme to work. Clearing site data for toolsimply.com removes it. Until you choose, the site follows your operating-system colour scheme.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-53JX84BQ74) to understand how many people visit ToolSimply, which pages they open, and roughly which devices or countries they use. This helps us decide which calculators to improve. Google may process identifiers such as a truncated IP address, browser type, language, referring URL, and the page path.
Calculator field values are not sent to Analytics as form fields. We configureanonymize_ip on the tag. Google’s own privacy policy applies to data Google holds: see Google’s documentation for Analytics and advertising.
You can limit Analytics with browser settings, tracking protection, or Google’s opt-out add-on. Blocking the script does not stop the calculators from working.
Cookies
ToolSimply does not set a first-party cookie for “logged-in user” on public pages, because there is no public login. Google Analytics may set cookies or use similar storage on Google’s domains in line with Google’s configuration. Your browser controls whether those cookies are accepted.
Hosting and logs
The site is served via Cloudflare (content delivery, DNS, and application hosting). Like most websites, the host and CDN may record standard request logs — for example IP address, user-agent, time, and the URL requested — to operate the network, absorb abuse, and debug outages. Those logs are not used to reconstruct calculator inputs.
Cloudflare’s processing is described in Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Data may be handled in more than one country as part of a global CDN.
Prompt articles and media
Prompt collections are editorial pages. Viewing them is like reading any article: the request is logged as a page view. Copying a prompt happens on your device. We do not receive a feed of what you paste into ChatGPT, Gemini, or another AI product.
Messages you send
If you email hello@toolsimply.com or use thecontact form (which opens your own mail app), we receive whatever you include: typically your name, reply address, topic, and message. We use that only to answer you, to fix tools, and to plan new calculators. Do not send passwords, OTPs, or identity documents.
Email is transmitted through your provider and ours. We keep correspondence as long as needed to resolve the request and for a reasonable period afterwards in case the same issue returns.
Children
The public site is general-audience educational material. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children in order to create accounts, because we do not offer public accounts. Academic tools are commonly used by older students. If you believe a child has sent us personal data by email, write to hello@toolsimply.comand we will delete that correspondence where we can identify it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or erase personal data we hold, or to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. For ToolSimply, the personal data we typically hold about a visitor is: (1) nothing, if you only used a calculator; or (2) an email thread, if you wrote to us; plus (3) analytics records held by Google in aggregated or identifier form according to their product.
To request access or deletion of an email you sent us, contacthello@toolsimply.com from the same address (or identify the thread). Analytics deletion or opt-out is handled through Google’s tools and your browser. We will not ask you to create an account in order to exercise these requests.
If you are in the European Economic Area or UK, our analytics vendor (Google) may act as an independent controller for Analytics data. You can also use browser controls described above. This statement is informational and is not legal advice.

Security
We use HTTPS for the public site. Because calculator secrets never sit on our servers, the main risk to your marks is someone looking at your screen or a malicious browser extension on your device — not a ToolSimply “marks database”. Email you send is as secure as email generally is; do not put sensitive IDs in the message.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change (for example a new analytics tool, or a real contact backend), we will update this page and the “Last updated” date (29 September 2026 at the time of writing). Continued use of the site after a change means you should read the new text.
