About us

Simple tools, honestly built.

ToolSimply is a free library of online calculators and AI prompt collections. Students use it for SGPA, CGPA, attendance, cutoffs, and exam scores. Creators use it to copy photo prompts into ChatGPT or Gemini. Nobody has to create an account to get an answer.

At a glance

  • 18 academic calculators live today, with more on the way.
  • AI prompt library for ChatGPT, Gemini, and similar tools.
  • No signup for any public tool or prompt article.
  • Calculations on-device — inputs never leave your browser.

How we work

Four rules we do not break

These are the same promises on the homepage, written so you can hold us to them.

  • Free, no signup

Open a calculator or a prompt article and use it immediately. No account, no watermark, no “upgrade to see the result”.

  • Private by design

Marks, attendance counts, and other inputs stay in your browser. We do not upload them, store them, or rebuild them from analytics.

  • Transparent formulas

Every tool page shows the formula, a worked example, and FAQs so you can check the result yourself before you copy it onto a form.

  • Built for phones

Large tap targets, readable type, and instant results — designed for result-season on a budget phone, not only for a desktop.

What you will find

Calculators for exams, prompts for creating

Academic tools

Built for Indian students and exam candidates: semester grades, attendance, Class 12 cutoffs, and objective-paper scoring with negative marking. Each page explains the formula before you trust the number.

All tools

AI prompt collections

Ready-to-copy prompts for photos, couples, family portraits, and more. Open an article, copy a prompt, and paste it into ChatGPT, Gemini, or another AI tool you already use. No extra app, no login wall.

  • Written for copy-and-paste, not locked behind a generator.
  • Organised by category so you can browse instead of hunting forums.
  • Free to use; you remain responsible for how you use any AI output.

How we calculate

Every calculator on ToolSimply uses a documented formula — the same style of maths a university, counselling brochure, or exam notice typically publishes. We do not invent “secret” conversions. If a university uses more than one percentage formula (for example CBSE, VTU, Mumbai, or Anna University), the tool lets you pick the scale and shows which one you used.

On each tool page you will usually find:

  • The formula in plain language, not only in code.
  • A worked example with realistic marks or attendance counts.
  • Common mistakes — mixing SGPA with CGPA, using the wrong cutoff subjects, ignoring the official 75% rule, and similar traps.
  • FAQs for the exact exam or university the tool is named after.
💡 Independent, not official. ToolSimply is not affiliated with IIT, GATE, UPSC, NTA, SRM IST, IGNOU, Anna University, TNEA, CBSE, or any other board. Treat results as a transparent estimate, then confirm against the latest official circular.

If a result looks wrong, tell us on the contact page with the tool name, the numbers you entered, and the number you expected. That is how we catch formula bugs.

Who it is for

Built for the people who actually fill the forms

Students

Convert SGPA to CGPA or percentage, plan bunks against a 75% rule, or check IGNOU assignment plus term-end weighting before a result is out.

Exam candidates

Estimate GATE marks and a score out of 1000 from a response sheet, or a net score after negative marking for papers such as UPSC, NEET, SSC, banking, and MPSC using the penalty you enter — not a hidden default.

Creators

Grab a photo or portrait prompt, paste it into the AI tool you already pay for (or the free one you use), and skip rebuilding the same instruction from scratch.

FAQ

Short answers

Who runs ToolSimply?

ToolSimply is an independent website built to give students, exam candidates, and creators accurate calculators and ready-to-use AI prompts — without accounts, paywalls, or ads that get in the way of the answer.

Are the calculators affiliated with any university or exam board?

No. The tools apply commonly published formulas (for example the GATE score formula, TNEA-style cutoffs, IGNOU 30/70, SRM grade points). They are not official products of IIT, UPSC, NTA, SRM IST, IGNOU, Anna University, CBSE, or any counselling authority. Always confirm with the latest official notification.

Will the tools stay free?

Yes. Public calculators and prompt collections are free to use, with no signup and no premium tier. That is the product.
