1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a contract between you and ToolSimply(ToolSimply). If you do not agree, do not use the website. Using a calculator, copying a prompt, or sending us email constitutes acceptance.

2. The service
ToolSimply provides, at no charge for public use:
- Browser-based calculators (including SGPA/CGPA, percentage conversion, attendance, cutoffs, negative marking, SRM CGPA, and IGNOU percentage tools, plus any we add later).
- Editorial AI prompt collections you may copy into third-party AI products.
- Explanatory articles, examples, and FAQs on tool pages.
The service is informational and educational. It is not counselling, admission, legal, financial, or medical advice, and it is not an official university, board, or exam portal.
3. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract under the laws of India (or your place of residence, if stricter). If you use the site for a school or workplace, you are also responsible for that organisation’s rules. Parents or guardians should supervise younger students who use the calculators.
4. Licence we grant you
We grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the public pages and to use the calculators and prompt text for your own non-commercial study, form-filling, or creative work, subject to these Terms.
You may not, without prior written permission:
- Resell access to ToolSimply or wrap our tools as a paid product.
- Scrape the site in a way that degrades service for others or copies the prompt library in bulk for a competing commercial dataset.
- Remove branding, formula explanations, or notices from pages you republish.
- Frame the site so that it appears to be someone else’s official exam or university tool.
Reasonable quoting of a formula with a link back to the tool page is allowed. Systematic cloning of our unique explanations, layouts, or prompt collections is not.
5. Intellectual property
The ToolSimply name, logo, page design, original explanations, and selection of prompt collections are owned by us or our licensors. University names, exam names, and board names are used only to describe the calculation a visitor is trying to perform; we claim no affiliation (see the Disclaimer).
You retain ownership of numbers you type into a calculator. We do not claim copyright in your marks. Prompt text we publish may be copied for use in AI tools as described below; we still own the compilation on our site.
6. AI prompts and third-party AI
Prompt articles are templates. When you paste a prompt into ChatGPT, Gemini, or another service, that product’s terms apply. We do not operate those models, we do not receive your AI output, and we do not warrant that generated images or text are original, accurate, or free of third-party rights.
You are responsible for how you use AI output (including likenesses of real people, brand logos, and copyrighted characters). If a prompt would require you to break another platform’s rules, do not use it that way.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Probe, overload, or attack the site, or bypass security or rate limits.
- Use the contact channel to send malware, spam, or unlawful content.
- Misrepresent ToolSimply results as an official scorecard, admit card, or counselling allotment.
- Attempt to access staff-only administration areas without authorisation.
We may block IP addresses or discontinue a feature if we reasonably believe these rules are being broken.
8. Feedback
If you email ideas, bug reports, or new-tool requests tohello@toolsimply.com, you grant ToolSimply a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use that feedback to improve the service. You still own your message; we will not treat unsolicited confidential business plans as a paid consultancy.
9. Availability and changes
We may add, change, or remove tools, prompt articles, or formulas when universities or exam bodies update their rules, or when we fix errors. We may have downtime. We do not promise a particular uptime percentage. Public use remains free unless we clearly announce otherwise on the site — we have no paid public tier today.
10. No warranty
The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy of any calculation or prompt. You must verify important numbers against official sources before you submit a form, pay a fee, or make an admission choice.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ToolSimply and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for lost admission chances, lost employment, lost data, or substitute tool costs, arising from use of the site or reliance on a result or prompt.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability for claims relating to the public site is limited to INR 1,000 (one thousand Indian rupees) or the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months (currently zero for public tools), whichever is higher. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted.
12. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold harmless ToolSimply from claims, damages, and reasonable legal costs arising from your misuse of the site, your AI outputs, or your violation of these Terms or of third-party rights.
13. Third-party services
The site may load Google Analytics and is delivered through Cloudflare. Links to universities, exam notices, or AI products are for convenience. Those sites have their own terms. We are not responsible for their content or availability.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection venue that applies to you. You agree to try to resolve disputes by emailinghello@toolsimply.com before filing a claim, where that is reasonable.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date on this page (29 September 2026 at publication of this version) is the effective date. Material changes will appear here. Continued use after a change is acceptance of the new Terms.
